Project overview

To address this challenge, A35 Brebemi-Aleatica has launched a biodiversity monitoring project for the entire highway under its management. This initiative involves satellite analysis and IoT devices for continuous pollinator monitoring, ensuring transparent and objective data on the local ecosystem. Additionally, the company has undertaken a biodiversity regeneration project at a highway interchange near the Treviglio toll station.
Main phases of the project
Through Flora technology, which involves the use of satellite data to analyze land use and ecosystem structure along its stretch of highway, A35 Brebemi can conduct a large-scale analysis of land cover and biodiversity potential, monitor biodiversity evolution over time in a continuous and wide-area manner, and identify areas in need of regeneration work.
