Project overview
As urban environments grow and transportation systems expand, preserving biodiversity within these areas becomes increasingly difficult. GEST set out to assess biodiversity within its tram depot in Scandicci. To do this, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the state of the depot's biodiversity and developed an action plan with the goal of identifying concrete interventions for improvement.
Main phases of the project
In 2024, GEST initiated the project with an assessment of the Scandicci tram depot to evaluate the current state of the site's biodiversity. This in-depth assessment allowed GEST to develop a concrete action plan with specific interventions aimed at improving biodiversity within the depot.
