Assessment of two outlet villages with the aim of obtaining BREEAM certification
Outlet villages represent commercial spaces with significant potential for urban biodiversity protection, and certifying their sustainability requires rigorous and measurable standards. McArthurGlen aims to obtain BREEAM certification for its centers, demonstrating a concrete commitment to responsible ecological management and the increase in the natural value of the sites. To reach this milestone, McArthurGlen has launched an in-depth ecological assessment project on two Italian outlet villages. The project provides for differentiated interventions: for Serravalle Designer Outlet, the assessment includes the ecological BREEAM modules LUE02, LUE03 and LUE04, together with the definition of specific biodiversity KPIs; for Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet, the analysis focuses on modules LUE03 and LUE04. ==WEBLATE_PART==
Obtain BREEAM certification through a thorough ecological assessment.

XNatura uses satellite monitoring technologies to analyze the biodiversity of the two sites in Serravalle and Noventa di Piave. The monitoring is conducted via Flora, developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). Thanks to satellite images, an overview of the biodiversity potential of the two sites is provided, enabling continuous observation of vegetation dynamics to detect ecosystem changes over time.
XNatura’s assessment suite uses recognized protocols to rank your sites’ nature, biodiversity, and climate priority.
