Redesigned public Report Builder and interactive Cadastre
The public Report Builder page gets a new look with a guided tour and export to Word and PowerPoint, while a new interactive Cadastre layer arrives on the map. The Overview and the management of the monitoring period have been improved too.
New Features
7 updatesNew public page for the Report Builder
report-builder-landingWe have completely redesigned the public page of the Report Builder, the tool you use to create the environmental reports for your area. The new page opens with a clearer presentation and immediately highlights what you can achieve. The available report templates are now shown with preview images, so you can tell at a glance what the final document will look like before you even start. We have lightened the opening section by removing a few elements that weighed the page down, leaving room for what really matters. The path to choosing a template and moving on to creation is more linear and immediate. Even people who don't have an account yet can explore the templates and get a feel for the tool. This makes it easier to understand the value of the report you'll be able to create right from the start. You'll find everything at XNatura → Report.
Guided tour on first access
report-builder-onboardingTo help you get off on the right foot, we've added a guided tour that appears the first time you open the Report Builder. The tour walks you step by step through the main features, explaining where the controls are and how to use them. On your first visit you'll also see a welcome window that introduces the tool and orients you before you begin. We've made the button to switch report template more visible, so you can quickly try different configurations. This way you no longer have to hunt for the options: they're highlighted right where you need them. The tour is designed above all for people opening the Report Builder for the first time, but it's also useful as a refresher. You can follow it at your own pace while exploring the various sections. You'll find it at XNatura → Report, on first access.
Export your reports to Word and PowerPoint
report-export-documentiYou can now export your reports in Word (DOCX) and PowerPoint (PPTX) formats directly from the tool, even without signing in. This lets you reuse the content in your company documents and presentations with just a few clicks. We've also made it possible to generate content directly within the grids that show multiple dates, without leaving the screen. Generation happens right there, so you always keep the context of what you're working on. We've also made the Word export process more robust, to reduce hiccups and produce more reliable documents. The result is a faster workflow, from the preview all the way to the final file. These improvements are designed for people who often share reports with colleagues and external contacts. You'll find the export at XNatura → Report.
New interactive Cadastre layer on the map
catasto-layer-interattivoA new layer dedicated to the Cadastre arrives on the Monitoring map, and it's fully interactive. You can click directly on a parcel to identify it and see its main information. You can select several parcels at once, so you can easily piece together the area you're interested in. Once you've picked the parcels, you can export the data in CSV or GeoJSON format to reuse it in your own tools. This makes it much easier to consult and share the cadastral information of a monitored area. The layer integrates with the map's other layers, so you can compare the cadastre with the site's other information. It's a useful tool both for analysis and for documenting your project. You enable it from XNatura → Monitoring → Map → Cadastre.
Manage and track the monitoring period
periodo-monitoraggioYou can now change a site's monitoring period directly from the year dialog, with no complicated steps. This lets you quickly update the time range you want to focus your analysis on. Every change to the monitoring period is also recorded in the site's History. In the History you can see the events tied to the monitoring window of the areas, with the detail of what changed. This way you always have a clear record of the changes made over time. It's especially useful when several people work on the same site and you want to understand how the settings have evolved. The combination of quick editing and traceability makes management more transparent. You'll find these features at XNatura → Monitoring.
Bug Fixes
7 updatesFixed the impact distribution text
fix-distribuzione-impattiWe've fixed a problem in the text that describes the impact distribution in the risks section. In some cases a fixed rating was shown that did not reflect the site's real data. Now the text reports the correct rating, consistent with the actual information. We've also fixed the percentages, which previously could appear with too many decimals. The percentages are now rounded and easier to read at a glance. This makes the risks summary more reliable and understandable. It's an improvement that touches the clarity of the information you use to make decisions. You'll find it at XNatura → Monitoring → Risks.
Improvements
7 updatesOverview cards reorganized by pillar
panoramica-pilastriWe've reorganized the Overview cards to make them more consistent with the environmental pillars that tell the story of your site's value. The protected plants card has been moved to the Regeneration pillar, where it fits more naturally. The nectar produced card has been moved to the same pillar too, to group related information better. In addition, the plant data now clearly distinguishes between what is inside the site and what is outside it. This distinction helps you read the numbers more precisely and understand the context better. The goal is to give you a tidier Overview that's quicker to consult. No data has been removed: we've only improved the organization. You'll find everything at XNatura → Overview.
