Hourly pollinator calendar and Cadastre owners
The pollinator activity calendar gains a switchable day/hour view, a per-cell detail, and a three-mode toggle for bursts. Owner information arrives in the Cadastre, along with some fixes to the map and the date picker.
New Features
6 updatesDay-by-hour view in the activity calendar
calendario-attivita-giorno-oraThe pollinator activity calendar now offers a view you can switch between day and hour. With a simple control you move from the daily reading to the hourly one, depending on the level of detail you need. We've added a detail window that opens when you click a single cell of the calendar. In the window you find that cell's values presented clearly and neatly. The tooltips that appear when you hover over the cells have also been better formatted, so the numbers are easier to read. This lets you quickly spot the moments of greatest activity. Being able to switch views makes the analysis more flexible and suited to different questions. You'll find everything at XNatura → Monitoring → Pollinators → Activity calendar.
Three-mode toggle for bursts
tagger-rafficheWe've added a three-mode toggle to manage the counting of activity bursts. The first mode considers only the events not yet classified, useful when you want to work on raw data. The second mode includes all bursts recorded during daytime hours. The third mode instead covers all bursts across the 24 hours, day and night. This way you decide which set of data to observe, with a single tap. Switching from one mode to another is immediate and doesn't require reloading the page. This flexibility helps you compare different scenarios and better interpret pollinator activity. You'll find the toggle at XNatura → Monitoring → Pollinators → Activity calendar.
Owner information in the Cadastre
catasto-proprietariWe've expanded the Cadastre layer with the ability to consult information about parcel owners. You can request the data directly from the map, in a simple and guided way. The parcels for which the service is available are clearly highlighted, so you immediately know where you can obtain the information. In the areas editor too, you can click on parcels to interact with them. We've fixed some cases where the buttons did not respond to clicks, making the experience smoother. The toolbar and the behavior between map and editor are now more consistent with each other. Overall, consulting an area's cadastral information is more immediate. You'll find everything at XNatura → Monitoring → Map → Cadastre.
Bug Fixes
6 updatesFixed the date range picker
fix-calendario-datepickerWe've fixed a problem with the date range picker. In some situations the selection calendar spilled beyond the edges of the screen. This could hide the confirm button, making it hard to complete the choice. Now the picker always stays inside the visible area. You can therefore choose the range and confirm it without a hitch. The fix is especially useful on smaller screens. It's a change that makes selecting the periods to analyze more reliable. You'll find it at XNatura → Monitoring.
The map no longer moves while adjusting opacity
fix-mappa-slider-opacitaWe've fixed an annoyance that occurred while you adjusted the opacity of the active layers on the map. By dragging the opacity sliders, the map could shift in an unwanted way. This forced you to reposition the view after every small adjustment. Now, while you act on the sliders, the map stays put where you left it. You can therefore fine-tune the layers' transparency calmly and precisely. The behavior is more natural and predictable. It's a fix that improves fine control over the map display. You'll find it at XNatura → Monitoring → Map.
Improvements
6 updatesSmarter export and more readable rain
impollinatori-export-pioggiaWe've made the export of pollinator data aware of the view you're looking at. This means the CSV file you download reflects exactly what you see on screen. In the daily view we've removed the rain data from the file, to keep it clean and consistent. Rain is now shown as a side indicator, without getting mixed up with the other values. On rainy days the cells are colored in a recognizable way, as already happens in the monthly view. We've also made the labels clearer and unified the buzz/h unit of measurement in the legend, in the detail window, and in the tooltips. The legend's maximum value is now rounded, for a more immediate reading. You'll find these improvements at XNatura → Monitoring → Pollinators → Activity calendar.
