The Future Climate — Relative Humidity indicator shows projections of mean relative humidity at 2 metres above ground based on CMIP6 climate models. For each day, projected mean, maximum, and minimum values are provided.
Relative humidity influences plant transpiration, fungal pathogen spread, organism thermal comfort, and organic matter decomposition. Very high values favour fungal diseases, while very low values increase vegetation water stress.
Data come from the Open-Meteo Climate Change API (CMIP6 models). The variable used is relative_humidity_2m (relative humidity at 2m above ground) with mean, maximum, and minimum values. Data are interpolated to the site's geographic position.
