More intuitive area selection and renewal fixes
We made selecting areas on the map smoother, improved the two-step verification experience, fixed reading of sensor data, and kept the census filters always visible.
Bug Fixes
5 updatesMore reliable direct links to sensors
fix-sensori-hive-idWe fixed some issues related to consulting sensor data. Previously, when opening a direct link to a specific device, in some cases the correct data was not loaded as expected. Now direct links to individual sensors work correctly and take you straight to the right information. We also synchronized the year selector across the different views, so that when you change the year all visualizations update consistently. This avoids finding data referring to different periods in the various sections. Consulting sensors is therefore more linear and free of surprises. To see your sensors' data, open the relevant section within the site in Monitoring. Select the desired year and navigate between the different devices without inconsistencies. These fixes make analyzing sensor data more solid and reliable.
No more blank screens during renewal
fix-wallet-rinnovoWe fixed an issue that, in rare situations, could cause a blank screen while managing renewal in the wallet. The problem occurred when the system received an error message in an unexpected format and could not interpret it correctly. Now the message is handled safely and, even in case of error, you will see an understandable indication instead of a blank page. This makes managing renewals more robust and less frustrating. No action is required on your part: the fix is already active for everyone. If in the past you had encountered odd behavior during renewal, the experience will now be smoother. You will find this information in the platform's wallet section. We keep making every step more stable and reliable.
Census filters always visible
fix-filtri-census-vuotoWe fixed a behavior of the Census section that, in the absence of transects, devices or sub-polygons, could hide the filters and navigation buttons. This could give the impression that the section was blocked or incomplete, when in fact it was simply missing some data. Now the filters and the controls to switch between exploration and summary always remain visible and usable, regardless of the data present. This way you can keep configuring the view and moving around the section without interruptions. This makes the experience more consistent even for sites that are still collecting their first data. No action is required on your part: the fix is already active. You will notice it when opening the Census section of a site with few or no elements. This way navigation always stays clear and predictable.
Improvements
5 updatesMore intuitive area selection on the map
selezione-aree-mappaWe made selecting areas directly on the map more natural and immediate. Now, by choosing the selection mode, you can simply click on a sub-polygon to choose it, or start drawing a new area right away with no intermediate steps. We fixed the way the clicked area is identified, which now relies on the actual geometry and not on the order in which the elements are drawn: this way you always select the area you expect. We also refined the sampling-results box, which now shows the minimum and maximum values on the bar, a more comfortable minimum width and clearer trend handling. All of this makes area analysis more precise and pleasant to use. To try it, open a site's map, activate the selection and click or draw on the area you are interested in. You will immediately see the updated results in the dedicated box. These improvements make exploring the different zones of your site much faster.
Two-step verification clearer to use
mfa-ux-roundWe refined the two-step verification experience based on the feedback received, to make it more linear and understandable. Now the button to confirm the verification code appears only after the code has actually been sent to your email, avoiding confusion about what to do first. We took care of several details in the texts and steps, so that every phase is clear and free of ambiguity. This makes activating and using the extra protection in everyday life calmer and more immediate. The goal is to make you feel secure and guided at every moment of the login process. To manage two-step verification, go to XNatura, open Settings and select the Security section. From there you can enable, change or check your verification methods. We will keep refining this experience to give you maximum peace of mind.
