Placeholder blocks in reports and a link to the guide
The report generator introduces placeholder blocks that fill themselves in with site data, a button arrives to open the documentation from the site toolbar, and the polygon editor becomes smoother and more precise.
New Features
3 updatesDynamic placeholder blocks in reports
blocchi-segnaposto-reportThe report generator gains a new type of block called placeholder. These are dynamic labels that, when the document is created, are automatically replaced with the site's real data, such as its name, surface area or reference dates. This way you no longer have to copy and paste the same information by hand into every report, reducing errors and wasted time. Placeholders can be inserted directly inside the text and are resolved on the fly while you compose the document, so you immediately see a preview of the final result. This makes reports much faster to prepare and always consistent with the platform's updated data. To use the new feature go to XNatura → Monitoring → Site → Report and add a placeholder block from the content menu. Once you choose the data to insert, the text fills itself in at every generation. It is a small help that saves a lot of repetitive work for anyone who prepares documents regularly.
Quick access to documentation from the site
link-documentazione-sitoWe have added a quick-access button to the documentation, placed next to the site settings gear. With a single click you can now open the guides that explain how the platform's various sections work, without having to look for them elsewhere. This is especially useful when you come across a new feature and want to understand right away how to make the most of it. The button is always visible in the site toolbar, so the guide is at hand at all times. Having the documentation built directly into the interface makes learning simpler and more immediate, even for those who have only recently started using the platform. To try it go to XNatura → Monitoring → Site → Settings and look for the documentation icon next to the gear. Clicking it opens the guide in the platform's language. This way you always have an answer ready whenever you need a clarification.
Improvements
3 updatesSmoother and more precise area editor
editor-poligoni-roiWe have refined the editor you use to draw and modify the polygons of your site's areas of interest and control areas. The experience is now cleaner and more intuitive: the commands are clearer, the map interactions smoother and the drawing tools more responsive. This reduces mistakes when you trace a perimeter or adjust the boundaries of an existing area. The small frictions that could slow the work down, such as hard-to-see buttons or unclear steps, have been removed. The result is an editor that is more pleasant to work on, especially when you have to manage complex areas. To use it go to XNatura → Monitoring → Site → Map and open the area editing tools. From here you can draw, move vertices and refine the shape with greater precision. A more carefully drawn map helps you obtain more reliable analyses.
