New Features
4 updatesMultiple species on the same observation
etichette-multi-specieIn the census you can now assign multiple species to the same observation. It often happens that a single photo or recording contains several protagonists: a flower with two different pollinators, or a chorus with several bird species. Before, you had to choose just one species, losing precious information; now you can add them all in the form of multiple tags. Each species appears as a distinct tag next to the observation and you can add or remove it with a tap. This makes the census data more complete and faithful to what you actually observed. The species richness of your site is thus counted with greater precision in the indicators. To use the news, open an observation from the census and add the species from the classification field. Every extra tag is one more piece of knowledge about the biodiversity of your territory.
New mount directly from the sensors map
richiesta-supporto-da-mappaAdding a monitoring point to your site is now done directly from the map. In the sensors section you find a button with the plus symbol that opens the guided procedure to request a new mount. The procedure is now available to site owners too, not only to the operators of our team. Choose the position, complete the steps and the request is registered with all the necessary information. This shortens the time between the idea of expanding the monitoring and its concrete realisation. The map remains the natural reference point: you see the existing mounts and immediately understand where it makes sense to add a new one. To try it, open the sensors tab in your site's census and tap the add button on the map. Growing your monitoring network has never been so direct.
Improvements
4 updatesThe Updates page tells its story with images
aggiornamenti-con-immaginiThis very updates page becomes richer and more visual. Each piece of news can now be accompanied by a real screenshot of the platform, captured from the public demo environment, which concretely shows where the described feature is located. The list of days also presents a small strip of previews, to let you understand at a glance what has changed. The images are optimised to load quickly without weighing down navigation. This way reading the news becomes more pleasant and immediate: you see the look of the feature right away, even before trying it. The screenshots come exclusively from public demo data, with no information from real customers. To explore, open the updates page and scroll through the most recent days. An image in the right place makes every explanation easier to understand.
The installed app opens straight onto your area
avvio-app-personalizzatoIf you have installed the platform on your smartphone, opening it is now smarter. Instead of a generic page, the app welcomes you with a quick launcher that takes you directly to the right area for your profile. Those who work in the field get straight to the operational tools, those who consult data find their platforms and their sites. This reduces the taps needed to start working and makes the installed app as comfortable as a native one. The quick launcher recognises your context and offers you the most useful destinations. To try it, install the platform from your phone's browser with the Add to Home Screen command and open the created icon. You will be taken straight to where you need to be, with no unnecessary steps. A tailor-made entrance is the best way to start the working day.
