Recovery codes and sub-polygon selection from the map
We introduced the management of recovery codes for two-step verification, selecting sub-polygons with a click on the map, the precipitation percentage in the sites table, and a calmer experience while generating reports.
New Features
7 updatesManaging recovery codes for security
mfa-codici-recuperoWe have introduced full management of recovery codes for two-step verification, designed to never lock you out of your account. Recovery codes are one-time codes you can use to log in if your main verification method is unavailable. You can now clearly see how many codes you still have available directly in the security settings. When you enable email verification, you are offered a dedicated screen to save your codes, while the step is skipped if you already have valid ones. We also made the messages clearer in case of a wrong code, with precise guidance on what to do. To manage the codes, go to XNatura, open Settings and select the Security section. We recommend keeping your recovery codes in a safe place. This update gives you greater peace of mind in managing your access.
Select sub-polygons with a click on the map
clic-sotto-poligoniWe have made it possible to select your site's sub-polygons simply by clicking them directly on the map. Previously, to focus the analysis on a specific portion of the site, you had to choose it from separate menus or lists. Now a single click on the area of interest on the map selects it and immediately shows the data referring to that zone. This makes moving from one area to another during analysis much more natural and fast. The selection is automatically reflected in the linked indicators and charts. To use the feature, open a site's map in the Monitoring section and click on the sub-polygon you are interested in. You will see the content update to show the information of that specific area. This direct interaction makes exploring the territory much more immediate and intuitive.
Precipitation percentage in the sites table
precipitazioni-tabellaWe have added the precipitation percentage to the sites summary table, to give you a more complete climate picture at a glance. Now, alongside the other indicators, you can see how much precipitation deviates from the norm for each site, with a colored badge that immediately highlights the most relevant situations. This helps you quickly spot the sites experiencing drier or wetter periods than usual. We took care of the header and added an explanatory tooltip to clarify the meaning of the value shown. This way the data remains understandable even without technical knowledge. To see this update, open the summary table of your sites in the Monitoring section. The new column lets you easily compare the precipitation situation across the different sites. This way you can keep an eye on the climate trend of your whole portfolio in a single view.
Scheduled map generation settings
generazione-programmata-adminWe have introduced new settings that allow administrators to manage scheduled map generation more flexibly. Thanks to this update, it is possible to configure when and how often certain maps are updated automatically, without having to regenerate them manually every time. The settings update in real time, so changes are immediately effective. This helps keep map data always fresh and aligned with the site's needs. The feature is designed for those who manage the advanced configuration of a site or a portfolio of sites. To access these settings, administrators can open the map generation configuration section in Monitoring. From there it is possible to enable and adjust automatic scheduling. This tool makes managing cartographic data more efficient and less manual.
Bug Fixes
7 updatesEnd to the monitoring page flicker
stop-flicker-monitoringWe fixed an annoying flicker that in some cases affected the monitoring page. The problem was caused by some animated background and perimeter effects that, repeating, could make the page visually shimmer. We made these decorative elements static, completely eliminating the flicker effect without removing anything from the information shown. Now the monitoring page is stable, clean and more pleasant to consult for long periods. This especially improves visual comfort during extended analysis sessions. No action is required on your part: the fix is already active for everyone. You will simply notice it when opening a site's Monitoring section. Taking care of these details lets us give you a more comfortable and professional experience.
Improvements
7 updatesCalmer report generation
report-generazione-uxWe improved the experience while generating reports, making it clearer and more reassuring. Previously, during the wait, a false timeout error message could appear, or a progress indicator stuck at a percentage that did not reflect reality. Now, while the report is being prepared, you will see a simple clear message explaining what is happening, with a neutral loading indication. When processing takes longer, we reassure you by explaining that you will receive the report via email once it is ready. This removes the sense of error and the confusion linked to unreliable percentages. To generate a report, go to the dedicated section and start creating the document. You will be able to keep using the platform while the report is being prepared. This more transparent experience makes the wait much less frustrating.
Calls to action on features not included in the plan
cta-funzioni-bloccateWe made the cards that appear when a feature requires a higher plan or an activation more useful. Previously these cards only informed you that the feature was not available, without offering a clear path to obtain it. Now each card includes a button that guides you toward the right action. If you are a user, the button opens a handy form to contact whoever manages the site and request the activation. If you are an administrator, the button takes you directly to the site settings where you can enable the feature. This makes it much simpler to turn interest in a feature into the action needed to unlock it. You will see these calls to action in the monitoring sections where a feature is not yet active. This way you always know what the next step to take is.
