Multilingual mobile profile and more stable biodiversity map
The Batty bat sensor arrives, along with perimeter editing from the census map and a more complete sensors list, together with fixes to the mobile profile, the biodiversity map, the impact values and the public pages.
New Features
7 updatesBatty, the bat detector, joins the platform
sensore-battyThe sensor family grows: the platform now recognises Batty, the bioacoustic detector dedicated to bats. In the census sensors section you find the new type with its icon and its colours, next to the stations already known for bees, birds and pollinators. Batty devices appear in the cards, in the type filters and in the summaries, both on computer and on smartphone. Bats are extraordinary indicators of the nocturnal health of an ecosystem: their presence tells about the quality of air and water and the availability of insects. With Batty, the monitoring of your site thus extends to the night hours too, completing the biodiversity picture. To see the new devices, open your site's census and go to the sensors tab, where you can filter by type. If you are interested in adding a bat detector to your monitoring, contact our team. Nature never sleeps, and now neither does your monitoring.
Edit the site perimeter from the census map
modifica-perimetro-censimentoYou can now correct your site's perimeter directly from the census map. The new edit button opens the drawing tools on the existing polygon, allowing you to move the vertices and adapt the boundaries to the reality of the terrain. Previously this operation required going through another section, interrupting the workflow. The change is immediate and the new perimeter is saved with all the necessary checks. An accurate boundary is important: surfaces, indicators and analyses of your site depend on it. To use the feature, open the census map and tap the polygon edit button. Drag the perimeter points until you obtain the desired outline and confirm the save. This way your data always rests on a geography faithful to the real territory.
Bug Fixes
7 updatesProfile correctly translated on mobile
fix-profilo-mobile-linguaWe fixed an issue that, on mobile devices, prevented some profile content from updating when you changed language. Previously, after selecting a different language, part of the profile information could remain displayed in the previous language. This created an inconsistent experience, especially for those who use the platform in multiple languages. Now all profile content updates immediately and consistently when you change the interface language. We checked correct operation on different devices and for all available languages. To try the fix, open your profile on a smartphone and change the language from the dedicated menu. You will see all texts update instantly in the chosen language. This fix makes the multilingual experience on mobile finally smooth and reliable.
More stable biodiversity map
fix-mappa-biodiversita-stabileWe fixed an issue that, in some areas very rich in data, could leave the biodiversity map with empty tiles or cause it to freeze while zooming. The problem occurred when loading the finer details failed to complete in time. Now, in these situations, the map keeps the data visible at a more general resolution instead of showing empty spaces or breaking. This ensures that you can always consult the biodiversity indicator without interruptions, even in the densest areas. The transition between the different levels of detail is therefore smoother and more reliable. To see the map, open the section dedicated to biodiversity in your site's monitoring. You will be able to navigate and zoom into the area without encountering blank screens or freezes. This fix makes consulting biodiversity data much more robust.
Impact value corrected on the mobile card
fix-impatto-mobile-msaWe fixed the presentation of the biodiversity impact value shown in the card dedicated to regeneration, particularly in the mobile version. Previously, this value could appear with a misleading plus sign in front of the number, giving an unclear impression of the actual figure. In addition, the value was not always shown with the right level of precision. Now the number is presented cleanly, with a single decimal and without misleading prefixes. This makes it immediate and correct to read the estimated impact directly from your smartphone. The card is therefore clearer and more reliable even on small screens. To see the fix, open the section dedicated to regeneration from your mobile device. The impact value will be shown accurately and easy to interpret. Taking care of these details helps us communicate environmental results transparently.
Sensors label corrected on the public pages
fix-etichetta-sensori-pubblicaWe fixed a small inaccuracy in the title of the section dedicated to sensors within the sites' public pages. Previously, the label showed a truncated and slightly incorrect word, which could look unprofessional to those visiting the page. Now the title correctly shows the complete and appropriate wording in all available languages. This improves the quality and perceived care of the publicly shared pages. The fix has been applied consistently across all language versions of the site. No action is required on your part: the change is already active. You will notice it when opening the public page of a site that shows the sensors section. Even small textual details help convey an accurate image of your work. We keep taking care of every text to offer ever more polished pages.
All connected devices now appear in the list
dispositivi-collegati-visibiliWe fixed an issue where some devices already connected to a mount could fail to appear in the sensors list. The case concerned particular configurations in which the device had been associated without completing all the traditional steps. Now every connected device is shown regularly, with its card and its information. We also added a help tooltip that, if needed, directly opens the guided procedure to complete the configuration. This way you always have the complete and real picture of your monitoring network, without ghost devices. The fix requires no action: the list updates automatically. To check, open your site's sensors tab and verify that all the installed devices are present. If you still notice something odd, our support is at your disposal. A reliable inventory is the foundation of worry-free monitoring.
