Sensor battery status and georeferenced map notes

From today, every device in the sensors section shows its vital information: the battery level, the time of the last transmission and the date of the last data received. This information appears both on the device cards and in the detail panel, and is also available in the mobile version of the platform. This way you can tell at a glance whether a sensor is working regularly or needs a field visit. Planning maintenance becomes much simpler: you immediately see which devices are running low on battery and you can organise a single field trip to take care of them all. The information covers the different sensor families of the platform, including the pollinator stations and the bioacoustic detectors. To consult it, open the census section of a site and go to the sensors tab, then tap or click a device for the full detail. You can also see the battery status of each device from the pins on the mobile map. This way your sensor fleet always stays under control, wherever you are.

We introduced notes on the map: you can now pin observations directly to the exact points of your site. Activate the insertion mode, tap the desired position on the map and write your note: a marker will appear, visible together with the other layers. Each note can be opened, edited or deleted at any time from the dedicated side panel, which collects the complete list. It is a precious tool to record what you observe: an area to restore, an intervention to plan, an interesting presence of flora or fauna. The notes turn the map into a true shared field notebook for your site, useful for the whole team. To get started, open a site's map in the Monitoring section and use the new notes command in the toolbar. From the panel you can scroll and filter all the notes entered and reach the corresponding point on the map with one click. In the coming days this tool will be enriched further, so keep an eye on it.

The section dedicated to risks and opportunities becomes deeper and more transparent. The sensitivity to risks is now calculated in relation to your organisation's production processes, so the results better reflect the reality of your activities. The analysis relies on an internationally recognised methodological framework for assessing dependencies on nature. We also added a methodology window that explains how the scores are built, including the damage curve used to estimate the effects of climate phenomena. This level of detail allows you to justify the assessments in front of auditors, certifiers and stakeholders. A more transparent assessment means more solid decisions and more credible communications.
