New Features
9 updatesNew management tools for Regeneration
rigenerazione-strumenti-gestioneWe've introduced a new generation of tools to manage Regeneration projects in a more complete and direct way. Now, from the platform, you can manage the adoption of an area and create a new site from scratch, following a step-by-step guided path. A quick search is available that helps you find the project or element you need quickly, without having to look for it manually. You can add plants to a site, so as to keep the list of the species planted and their contribution up to date. Managing multimedia content is easier: you can upload and organize the photos and materials associated with the project, and remove the ones no longer needed. Thanks to the ability to pin the most important elements, you highlight what you always want to find front and center. These tools are designed for those who curate and coordinate regeneration projects and want to keep them tidy and always up to date. You'll find them at XNatura → Regeneration.
A new media gallery, more beautiful and tidy
galleria-multimediale-rinnovataWe've completely renewed the platform's media gallery, with a more modern, tidy and pleasant look to browse. The new design showcases your site's images, making it easier to leaf through photos and content collected over time. The images are organized more clearly, so you can quickly find what you're looking for without getting lost among too many elements. We've also taken care of the small visual details, such as the sorting controls, which now follow the platform's overall style. This gallery is designed to help you tell the story of how your territory evolves, both for internal use and when you want to share results with others. Browsing content is now more immediate even when there are many images. To explore it, go to XNatura → Gallery and scroll through the content collected for your site. It's a simple, direct way to keep an eye on your project's visual heritage.
All the plantation's content in a single gallery
rigenerazione-galleria-unificataFor regeneration projects we've unified the media gallery right within the site page. Now all the visual content related to the plantation is gathered in a single space, without having to look for it in different parts of the platform. The gallery includes the plantation's entire image feed, so you get a complete view of what's happening in the field. The card dedicated to each species also shows the images coming from the whole project, and not just those of a single element. This lets you follow the growth of the plants more easily and document progress over time. Bringing everything together in one place makes it simpler to tell the story of the work done to colleagues, partners and supporters. To view it, open your regeneration site page and scroll down to the Gallery section. It's a convenient way to always have your project's visual memory at hand.
Plant adoption more comfortable on any device
adozione-modal-responsiveWe've redesigned the plant adoption window to make it clearer and more comfortable to use. The new design is fully responsive, so it looks its best both on computer screens and on those of smartphones and tablets. This way you can manage adoptions wherever you are, even directly in the field, without difficulty reading or navigating. We've reorganized the information so that the main steps are more immediate to follow. Along with the new look we've introduced a series of small fixes that make the experience smoother and more reliable. The species cards and related content are now tidier and more pleasant to consult. To try the new feature, open your regeneration site page and start the adoption process for a plant. It's an update designed to make every step simpler and more pleasant.
Upload images and assign them to the right year
upload-media-annoWe've improved image uploading in regeneration projects by introducing the ability to associate them with the selected year. When you add new content, it's now linked to the period you're viewing, instead of being assigned generically. This helps you keep your visual documentation in order, organizing it consistently over time. It thus becomes easier to compare the state of the plantation year after year and to show the progress achieved. Correct time attribution is especially useful when you collect images across several seasons or monitoring campaigns. This way, when browsing the gallery, you find each piece of content in the right context. To use it, select the desired year and upload your images from the regeneration site gallery. It's a small touch that makes your project's archive much tidier.
Bug Fixes
9 updatesDownload all images in a single ZIP file
download-galleria-zipWe've fixed and improved downloading images from the gallery, making it simpler and more reliable. Now you can download all the content at once thanks to a handy ZIP file, without having to save them one by one. Previously, in some situations, downloading multiple images or single files might not work correctly. We've fixed this behavior, so both the full download and that of a single image happen without a hitch. This saves you precious time when you need to archive or share many images together. Saving is now faster and tidier, with all the files gathered in a single package. To use it, go to XNatura → Gallery and use the button to download all the images. No particular action is required: the new feature is already active for everyone.
More accurate count of adoptable plants
conteggio-piante-adottabiliWe've fixed the way the number of plants still available for adoption in regeneration projects is calculated. Previously the count could be not entirely accurate, raising some doubt about how many plants were actually available. Now the number shown corresponds to the total of plants that have been planted, minus those already adopted. This way you always have a clear and reliable figure for the plants that can still be adopted. This helps you communicate the project's availability precisely to those interested in contributing. A correct figure also makes it easier to plan adoption campaigns and monitor their progress. The fix is already active and requires no action on your part. You'll find it on your regeneration site page at XNatura → Regeneration.
More reliable Land Use during generation
uso-suolo-affidabilitaWe've made the Land Use section more reliable while you work on your polygons. When you regenerate the maps from an outline, the view now stays correctly framed on the polygon, without unwanted shifts. This way you never lose sight of the area you're analyzing and can follow the operation more comfortably. We've also introduced a clear notice that alerts you if the data generation doesn't succeed. Previously, in case of problems, you could remain waiting without understanding what had happened. Now you receive immediate feedback and know right away whether the operation needs to be repeated. These measures make working on the maps more transparent and relaxed. You'll find them at XNatura → Monitoring → Land Use.
Improvements
9 updatesStorytelling richer and easier to share
storytelling-condivisioneWe've enriched the project's Storytelling with new tools designed to better tell and share your results. Now you can download images in a polaroid style, perfect for reuse in presentations, documents and communications. We've also added a handy function to copy the link to the story, so you can share it quickly with colleagues and partners. A new section dedicated to reporting helps highlight the project's most significant results. We've also made navigation smoother, with a simple way to return to the dashboard when you've finished reading the story. These improvements make Storytelling an even more effective tool for communicating the value of your territory. The goal is to help you present the data in a clear, polished and memorable way. To use them, go to XNatura → Overview and switch on the Storytelling view.
